A greenhouse near Aachen is dedicated not to growing plants,but to cultivating algae. Researchers use the algae to consume carbon dioxide (CO2),which is harmful to the environment. The result: reduced CO2 emissions and organic matter that the chemical industry can use as valuable bio-fuel,free of charge.
